Carol Stock Kranowitz, M.A., has done us all a favor in writing The Out-of-Sync Child: Recognizing and Coping with Sensory Integration Dysfunction. Ms. Kranowitz has helped many parents who previously approached their child's teachers and doctors with "gut feelings" that something was wrong, but with little support for those feelings. She has done a fine job of explaining sensory integration for parents and teachers.
